I love playing games, however I find myself shorter and shorter of time to actually sit down and play the games I purchase. most of them takes a serious amount of effort to complete. I am also in to all things retro (stuff from 90’s and earlier) and after reading Ernest Cline’s “Ready Player One” I got the urge to play some of the games I grew up with.
A great book does not guarantee a good film adaptation. And a great film could be created from a bad novel. And there could be a good film that does not resemble its novel. “Ready player one” falls under the latter category.

Once again Mr Cline manages to pack a book with heaps of 80’s references and a story that twists and turns. This book is another MUST read.
Who doesn’t remember trading floppy disk (yes floppy disk!) with the latest cracked games and they always included a .nfo file, where the Warez / Demo groups got their “cred”, like digital graffiti artists.
